We are a group of computer science researchers who collect and analyze publicly available Internet data to study routing, filtering, and reachability. Our work aims to uncover network vulnerabilities and support system administrators in adopting best practices to address them.
Our measurement server performs Internet measurement scans using powerful network scanners like ZMap. It's important to note that the packets sent from us are harmless probes designed solely for academic research purposes. We have no intention of exploiting or attempting to log in to any services.
If you are observing network packets sent from our servers and you wish to opt out, please get in touch with us by sending your network logs to measurement-optout@cs.umd.edu. Thank you!
